Well what can I say about this year, besides the incredible Summer weather, blue skys and non stop Sunshine. This was I believe the biggest turnout to date. We arrived on the Friday evening ,having had a very long drive..through Wales/ M6 /M1 all 13 of us were pretty tired when we arrived at the Premier Lodge in Billing. Still within an hour or two around 10 of us ventured off to see who was in Puddleduck lane. Have to say I was surprised to see so many in place, some of whom were there since Wednesday!! After saying a few hello's we headed back to the hotel. By Saturday the place was jammers, we went in early to get a good place to set up ,just as well really.

For once I managed to complete my shopping list , Stickers from Mike, Seat Covers from Nivan,Wheels and shifter from Dave, Parts from JC and Timoooofeeee , book from John Lees and Gary had the newly chromed handlebars for Charlies' bike.....
It is always good to see everyone again and have a natter about how many irish bikes were made before the factory burnt down in 1976.....
Aidan got his birthday present a 1971 Horizon Blue Mk1 in superb condition. Gerry B picked up enough parts to complete his second restoration. We had a great laugh when he was overheard by Ann-Marie telling us how much he had paid for a pair of NOS mudguards... "How Much Did You Pay???" The are getting married in October (at least I think they still are!!) and Ann-Marie is watching the pennies.... Not Gerry however!!!

So it looks like the hobby will still be going strong in 2007!!
